Hi! I’m Rachel!

Welcome to Living Well! I chose the name Living Well as I love the story of the woman at the well, and I also love a good play on words! Jesus was offering her living water at the well, and we need his living water to live well. I plan to use this platform to encourage and challenge others. Life is complicated and complex; we were not created to do it alone. We have the wisdom of the word of God to help guide us, and we have His Spirit to help us understand His word. I hope this page helps and encourages you; it’s just as much for me as it is for you! God has put so much in my heart over the last few years, and I feel it’s time to share it with whoever is willing to hear! My favorite parts of the Bible are about God’s chosen people the Hebrews. Growing up in Sunday school I loved hearing all the stories. Growing up the Old Testament was more of a history book. A history of the world and of the Jewish people. What I didnt know then and honestly. Didnt know until like a few years ago was all of those stories were not just historically significant but also had deep allegorical meaning and significance. So many of the stories have such beautiful imagry and can be applied to the modern Christian life. I say all of that to say alot of my writing will be pointing out those images and the hidden meanings I have found. The Story of The Bible is a picture of Jesus and in that picture of Jesus is the way to live life, not just a way but The Only Way.
